Editorial Policy
Our aim is to help readers make a better matched purchase, with enough context to decide whether they need an upgrade at all.
Research and verification
We prioritise official product documentation, manufacturer support pages, and standards bodies for technical information. Articles link to relevant primary sources. Manufacturer statements are not independent proof of performance, and a specification does not replace a real-world test.
Testing and experience
The launch guides on this site are research-based. We have not performed hands-on tests of the products discussed. We do not present unmeasured benchmarks, battery-life figures, numerical ratings, drop-test results, or invented personal experience.
Recommendations and tradeoffs
We select examples to explain categories and buying decisions. A recommendation should say who it suits, what you give up, and what to check. We do not claim to have compared every available model. Official brand links are starting points for further research, rather than guarantees of inventory or price.
Images
Our lifestyle cover images use licensed stock photography. They illustrate a setting or product category; they are not proof that a featured device was tested, and they may not depict the exact products discussed.
Commercial independence
A commercial relationship must be disclosed near relevant links or content. Commission potential should not replace a useful explanation of suitability and limitations. Current manufacturer links are ordinary links without affiliate tracking.
Corrections and updates
We correct substantive errors when identified. Dates indicate publication or a substantive editorial update, not a guarantee that every external page, price, or specification remains unchanged. Please use our Contact page to find the current enquiry options.
